From what I know this is based off a failed WW2 British army weapon of the same name consisting of a wheel full of explosives, and as you would expect from it most of it's attacks are explosions that often do massive damage and cover the whole screen, sometimes Nevil Shute (the inventor of said WW2 weapon) shows up on screen, holding dual cups of tea like a good ol' british bloke. *siiiip*
